Matthew Carless, arguably the biggest contributor to helping new scriptwriters in the UK in recent years, is now providing a script reading service directly to writers. This will include treatments as well as scripts for film, television and radio. For anyone who is unclear, this type of service is sometimes called "script doctoring" and is usually several pages worth of objective notes commenting on premise, structure, dialogue, etc.

His experience includes 15 years BBC background, seven of them in development jobs. Amongst the productions he worked on were Casualty, The House of Eliott and Hostile Waters. He has tutoring experience with Birkbeck and the LSW and is currently doing some more training with the Script Factory.
